PUMA Set to Launch Two More LaMelo LaFrancé

Created in collaboration with NBA star the LaFrancé is a lifestyle silhouette inspired by the ultra chunky skate shoes of the 1990s and 2000s. Featuring exaggerated proportions once again popular in the sneaker zeitgeist, the LaFrancé comes with a zig-zag lace closure, thick-as-hell laces, and stacked tongue for comfort and durability. ‘LF’ and ‘La France’ can be found scripted on the tongue as well as imprinted into the sneaker's ultra-thick sole. The cup sole boasts eye-catching floating ovals throughout, while the upper ovals on the midsoles take aesthetic cues from the butterfly – representing LaMelo’s 1 of 1 lifestyle.

PUMA are now launching two new colourways of the LaFrancé, with the ‘Untouchable’ and the ‘Moment’ editions set to take flight next week. The ‘Untouchable’ colourway is emblazoned with hot pink on the oval cutouts and outsole branding, while the sand-coloured ‘Moment’ scheme opts for a more subdued colour palette that is highlighted by dark brown text underfoot. While the debut ‘Armour’ colourway opted for glossy patent leather uppers, the two new colourways look to feature more traditional leather.
