PUMA Releasing Sonic the Hedgehog's Speed 500 Sneaker From Upcoming Movie

For sneakerheads, the highlight from the recent trailer for the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog movie would’ve been the sight of the character’s trademark bright red sneakers brandishing a formstrip. Decking the SEGA superstar out with their fastest runner, the Big Cat has prepped a Speed 500 sneaker, which will release alongside the film.

Following up on 2018’s collaboration, the performance-geared runner features an engineered knitted upper and lightweight PROFOAM midsole. Peep the slider above for a look at the potential ‘High Risk Red’ hue which will likely provide the eye-catching base. The black detailing will be replaced with a clean white to mimic the sneaker seen in the trailers.
