Raf Simons X adidas Fw16 Collection

has just dropped a killer collaborative collection with for the FW16 season. People love to feel a way about high-end fashion sneaker collaborations – bemoaning that they’re either too histrionic or too humble. But Raf has dallied the line between loud decoration and branding that’s minimal to the point of being nondescript with this seventeen-strong collection for all tastes.

The collection comprises two models: Raf’s fave, the , and the Matrix Spirit. The Smith is dressed in obviously supple leather covered with a gloss that gives it affluent vibes, while the Matrix Spirits are decidedly more low-key. Made from canvas and coloured in tones you’d find on 80s sportswear, the Matrix Spirits look to draw from adidas’ back catalogue for inspiration but add leather tongues for a high-end twist.

The Raf Simons x adidas FW16 collection doesn’t have a confirmed release date yet, but stay tuned and you’ll know when it does.
