Ready to Strike: The Air Jordan 4 ‘Red Thunder’

It doesn’t get much more iconic than the Air Jordan 4. Gracing the heels of His Airness in 1989, the AJ4 continues to transfix the sneaker industry in 2021, MJ’s indelible sneaker recently confirmed in ‘Tech White’ (AKA ‘White Oreo) and ‘Shimmer’ colourways. The heavyweights of the sneaker world also continue to board the Jumpman high-flyer, Union LA’s Chris Gibbs recently dropping the outdoors-inspired ‘Trent and Trail’ pack.

Now, we’re looking at a burning hot ‘Red Thunder’ colourway. Again manufactured in classic full-grain leather (this time in black), the Air Jordan 4 utilises ‘Red Thunder’ beneath the black grid mesh for contrast. Bold hits of red continue on the tongues, eyestays and midsoles, while the herringbone tread again extends the black aesthetics.
