Reebok Revive the BB4000 II for Modern Lifestyles
are bringing back a fan favourite in the BB4000 II, a low-cut basketball sneaker that first hit the streets in 1989. This move delves deeper into the vector brand’s archive, a move that has been welcomed by many and is evident in other throwback reissues like the Question and Pump.
The BB4000 II is a no-frills design with durable leather uppers and hard-wearing EVA soles. Heritage details like Union Jack branding have been retained, keeping to the brand’s rich history.
‘Not many brands can genuinely play in both sport and lifestyle like Reebok,’ comments Reebok CEO Todd Krinsky. ‘At Reebok, style is classic – it’s synonymous with heritage and authenticity. With the revival of BB 4000 II, we’re excited to bring to market a shoe that embodies who we are, balancing performance roots with vintage style while evolving our rich basketball archive for today’s consumer.’
The BB4000 II will be available from Reebok and select retailers from October 28.
