Reebok Release the Beatnik Moc in Outdoors-Inspired Colours
The was one of the models at the forefront of the that took over the sneakersphere across the past two or so years. It’s since evolved beyond its trendy phase and continues cementing itself within the Vector brand lineup with its extended Beatnik Moc version, which is more akin to an outdoorsy Chelsea boot. This terrain is exactly what’s inspired the colourways behind this new trio, which all reportedly draw from the Reebok archive.
While originally created as an off-road lounge clog for campsite-adjacent activities, the revived Beatnik has been relocated to the streets, quickly expanding its following thanks to its convenient slip-on design and puffy styling. The laceless component remains, as large elasticated ankle gores help the foot stay put, working in tandem with the heightened ankle. Furthermore, while many Beatnik releases last year featured padded uppers, the Moc instead opts for smooth suede and maintains its large centre seam. The thick rubber ripple sole also remains, retaining the distinct look of the model.
This new drop sees ‘Quartz Sand’, ‘Earth Brown’ and ‘Ultra Marine’ editions arriving, with pretty self-explanatory colourway names. Each are sat on solid black soles. The Beatnik Mocs will arrive at select retailers later this month.
