Reebok Revive the Premier Road Plus 6
The Premier Road Plus 6 from 2009 is back, adding to the glut of now-retro 2000s performance running shoes finding a second life as streetwear staples. This deep cut from the Vector brand’s former top-tier line enters the fold in near one-to-one reproduction of its original details.
For a bit of context, Reebok debuted the Premier series in 2003 as an expression of their pinnacle running technology – something the company had historically been pioneers in. Proprietary advancements, including DMX Foam, DMX Shear and PlayDry, were introduced and improved through the product line, which ran for almost a decade before shuttering in 2012.
The return of the Premier Road Plus 6 represents a peak for the series while simultaneously being archetypical of shoes from the era. Grey and metallic shades are reprised in accordance with the current , which is only exemplified by the synthetic suede and mesh combo uppers. Callouts to the aforementioned technologies are printed prominently on the foam midsole, and the model name is proudly emblazoned at the top of the tongue.
The Premier Road Plus 6 is available now directly from Reebok’s global sites.
