Reebok Bring Back the Shaq Attaq for Its 30th Anniversary
The is one of the 1990s’ most iconic basketball shoes. Now, it’s coming back in its original white, black and blue colourway for its 30th anniversary.
Issued in 1992 as the first signature sneaker for Shaquille O’Neal, the Shaq Attaq features some of Reebok’s premier technology from the era. It contains the brand’s unique Pump system, which is integrated into the tongue to provide a custom fit. Carbon fibre plates in the sole provide plenty of stability for a player like Shaq, who rocked a whopping size 22 on court. This OG colourway was also inspired partly by the Orlando Magic, who signed the player as the first overall pick in the 1992 NBA draft. Thirty years on and several reissues later, fans can relive that golden era of basketball footwear once more.
The Reebok Shaq Attaq returns on September 23.
