Release Date Confirmed: Parra x Nike SB Dunk Low Drops in July
Dutch artist and long-time collaborator has finessed uniforms for skateboarding teams at the Tokyo Olympics, and there’s a complementary set to arrive coinciding with the highly anticipated Summer Games. Following the reveal of , we now have confirmation of the release date, and its not too far away!
The latest Parra-designed Dunk extends the aesthetic vocabulary of the uniforms worn by the USA, Japan, Brazil and France athletes. Composed with his familiar, colourful geometric patterns, the uppers ooze Parra’s inimitable artistic style, featuring his vibrant overlays in blue, red and pink shades. For visual balance, Parra opts for a clean black Swoosh and clean white underlays while, down below, a white midsole complements the vintage rubber outsoles. Official imagery also shows off the collaboration’s co-branded insoles, as well as two sets of laces in white and black, respectively.
While we’ve already seen of a potential, uber-limited F&F version, this is a broader release, but will likely still be a very difficult cop!
The Parra x Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Abstract Art’ releases on July 31 for $110 via SNKRS and select skate shops. Stay tuned for a Where to Buy guide!
