Release Date: The Air Jordan 5 Low ‘Wings’ Sets Flight Soon
In case you hadn't heard, the is still a bad, . However, the silhouette's lower-cut counterpart has also garnered its own loyal following over the years. Originally leaked as a colourway, the latest rendition is in fact a special edition drop to commemorate MJ's Wings Program and its 2020-21 graduating class.
Definitely more luxe than your average Air Jordan 5 Low, the colourway features a black nylon upper with leather overlays. Additionally, there's gold detailing on the forefoot jet-fighter-inspired shark teeth, while 3M reflective tongue branding and the lateral '20/21' tag add more lustre to the look. A slightly lighter hue is used for the netting, with the midsole coming through in an all-black make-up. Adding to the finer details are gold badges on the insoles, an icy translucent outsole with feather graphics, a special Wings hangtag, and scholarly tassels. It's a grand graduation present indeed!
The Air Jordan 5 Low 'Wings' releases on May 14 for $190 via Nike SNKRS.
