Release Date: The CLOT x Nike Air Max 1 ‘Kiss of Death’

Following on from the recent  celebrity seeding via  DJ Khaled, and the unveiling of official images, we now have a release date for the  CLOT x  Nike Air Max 1 ‘Kiss of Death’. Anticipation has understandably been very high for the return of the coveted colab, and CLOT have now revealed that it will be hitting stores on February 27.

The original CLOT x Nike Air Max 1 ‘Kiss of Death’ arrived on the scene 15 years ago at an invite-only event in Hong Kong. Referencing the ancient Chinese art of pressure points, the design also focused on human anatomy, featuring transparent toe boxes, snakeskin Swooshes, and ostrich ankle panels.

Sneakerspotters will notice a few differences between the OG ‘Kiss of Death’ and this 2021 rendition – most notably reflective hits on the heels, perforations on the toe box, and changes to the artwork on the insoles and outsoles. But don’t let that turn you off, this still promises to be a very hot release.
