Release Date: The Nike Air Force 1 ‘Tune Squad’

The build-up for this release has been simmering for over a month, but we now have a release date for the  Nike  Air Force 1 ‘Tune Squad’. This Uptown is part of the broader Nike and Converse collection that is set to celebrate Space Jam: A New Legacy – with the pack officially unveiled last month. While that collection features a mix of retro and modern silhouettes, plenty of eyes have been on this AF-1 that features everyone’s favourite bunny ballers: Bugs and Lola. 

Whispers started circling for this release back in late May with a first look, followed quickly by an on-foot glimpse. And more recently we heard that this fun Air Force 1 will be available in children’s sizes as well as adults, giving Tune Squad fans of all ages the chance to flex their allegiance.

While we were impressed with the official collection that was unveiled by Nike and  Jordan Brand, we couldn’t help but put our thinking caps on to dream up a few of the Space Jam–themed designs  we’d like to see on  LeBron models.

Pairs of the Air Force 1 ‘Tune Squad’ are scheduled to land on July 16 at Nike and selected Swoosh stockists.
