Dial it Back: The adidas D Rose 1.5 Returns to Chicago
The pride of Chi-Town still resides in the hearts of Chicago natives everywhere, immortalised by his legendary 2010-2011 MVP run with the Bulls.
Despite somewhat of an NBA nomad since his time in Chicago (resulting from a devastating ACL injury), Rose looks to have found a home, under coach Tom Thibodeau and the New York Knicks, the unadulterated hooper still getting MVP chants at Madison Square Garden.
OG Rose fans will be happy to hear about the return of the D Rose 1.5, the classic model laced during the point guard’s history-making MVP season. Already reportedly arriving in a ’ and colourways, it now looks like the D Rose 1.5 will also return in its indelible Chicago Bulls red and black, the powerhouse palette scheduled to arrive in December.
Manufactured in Sprintskin upper with mesh and synthetic leather, the supportive lightweight Sprintframe is one of the signature elements of the model. Lightstrike is this time used for the cushioning, replacing the legacy adiprene+ seen on the OG.
Look for the adidas D Rose 1.5 to land on December 15.
