Release Details: The Prada x adidas A+P Luna Rossa 21
The and partnership has taken this year’s sneakerscape by storm, the Italian fashion house recently did their thing on a slew of , kitting out the classic shell toe in the most luxurious of leathers. Now, the duo are back, and they’re putting their expensive touch on a brand new silhouette. Dubbed the A+P Luna Rossa 21, it slightly resembles Prada’s own America’s Cup sneakers. This pair however, has been purposely designed for the Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli sailing team that will be competing in the America’s Cup this year.
After seeing a few teasers from the likes of Jonah Hill and Sean Wotherspoon, we’ve now got a look at the duo’s second venture in all of its glory. Going for a low-key white upper, the only pop of colour is Prada’s signature Linea Rossa red stripe branding that wraps around the back of the heel. The materials though, are where this shoe shines. It rocks perforations along both sides, with mesh underlays and see-through synthetic overlays. Elsewhere, a semi-translucent sole unit wraps around the toe box to add some depth.
Previously we said that Prada and adidas’ next crep was originally expected to release on November 25, but we’ve received word from the top, and can now confirm that the release date will be December 9 via the Confirmed App in the US and China.
