Reminder: 'Black Cement' Air Jordan 3s Release This Weekend
The ‘Black Cement’ is one of the greatest Jays of all time. And we don’t say that lightly. As the first designed by , the sneaker played a big role in keeping a young Michael Jordan with Nike. It was the first Jay to feature Visible Air, birthed an ad series with Mars Blackmon, and was the colourway MJ wore when he was awarded MVP of the 1988 All-Star game in front of his hometown.
A true retro is almost unheard of; however, to celebrate the model’s 30th anniversary, Jordan Brand are rereleasing the sneaker with rare ‘Nike Air’ branding on the heels — something we haven’t seen since 2001.
