Before you hover your finger/cursor over ‘Add To Cart’ on your preferred secondary marketplace, let it be known that are restocking their collaboration at the end of the month. So, here’s another chance to pick up a pair for retail.
The Off-White x Converse Chuck 70 first released in , following the monumental “The Ten” collection that dropped shortly before it. These Chucks underwent industrial aesthetic modifications and bear a number of unique details. For one, bold black and white slanted stripes wrap the midsole up to the foxing, which is bordered off by a strong black circumference.
This heavily contrasts against the stark white canvas upper that looks fairly conventional from the lateral side, but is trademark Off-White on the medial. The inner side is literally trademarked with various Converse and Off-White nomenclature in the latter’s self-claimed Helvetica Neue Bold font.
Other deviations on this end include the screenprinted Converse ankle patch with the idiosyncratic orange tab stitched on the side. While the essential Off-White red plastic tag is wrapped through the laces. PSA: it can be removed – and will make the shoes look much better. Some extra orange accents on the outsole finish the design, and the heel license plates are flipped upside down, just because.
The Off-White x Converse Chuck 70 will restock on Converse on March 30.
