RIMOWA and adidas Link for Made-in-Germany Sneakers and Luggage
New up from RIMOWA and adidas is an all-German collaboration that serves up RIMOWA’s first-ever aluminium backpack and adidas' next generation NMD_S1 sneaker.
Themed around travel, the collaboration positions storied luggage brand RIMOWA alongside the nomadic adidas NMD sneaker. The NMD is made in Germany for this special team-up, which imagines the modern shoe with a Primeknit upper in a titanium-inspired colourway, resting atop a Boost sole.
The accompanying made-in-Germany backpack is crafted with RIMOWA's signature grooved aluminium, with the addition of rope straps for ease of carrying, which also nod to the laces of the NMD sneaker.
This partnership hearkens back to 2016, when adidas and RIMOWA first partnerd to create a special for the original NMD_R1. Now, the partnership comes full circle as both brands reprise their handshake in a bigger way.
Dropping on November 17th, the RIMOWA x adidas NMD_S1 will be available from adidas CONFIRMED and at adidas.com as well as, selected RIMOWA stores and online at RIMOWA.com. The RIMOWA x adidas NMD_BACKPACK will be available from flagship RIMOWA and adidas stores worldwide and online at RIMOWA.com and adidas.com.
