the Parisian outfit known for their eco-conscious approach to footwear, have teamed up with for a futuristic Levitation collection. The partnership reimagines the Big Cat's mid-2000s Levitation model, merging avant-garde visuals with sustainable materials.

At the core of the collection is a striking floating heel concept, created using recycled TPU that extends beyond the back of the shoe. This not only reinforces PUMA’s signature Formstrip branding but also gives the sneakers a gravity-defying aesthetic. The lineup includes two variations: a laceless low-top Levitation sneaker, available in black and distressed white, and the Levitation Sock, a high-top model with a snug knit upper and bold ROMBAUT branding, which will be exclusively available online.

In keeping with ROMBAUT’s commitment to sustainability, all materials are 100 per cent vegan, using synthetic leather and repurposed components to minimise environmental impact. The collection first debuted during ROMBAUT’s 10th-anniversary runway show at Paris Fashion Week in June 2024, showcasing the brand’s fusion of progressive fashion and ethical production.

Founded in 2013 by Belgian designer Mats Rombaut, the label stemmed from a desire to push sustainable fashion forward, particularly in footwear. Seeing a gap in the market, he set out to create high-end vegan shoes that didn’t compromise on aesthetics or innovation. The brand is known for using eco-friendly materials, including Piñatex (a fibre made from pineapple leaves) and Apinat Bio, a biodegradable thermoplastic.

The collection is available now via ROMBAUT’s website, with prices ranging from $370 to $381. A wider release will follow on March 1, 2025 at select retailers.
