Ronnie Fieg’s 8th Street x Clarks Originals Colab Drops a New Collection
ongoing 8th Street collaboration with has delivered its fifth collection of unique colourways and also introduced two additional models to the lineup. The drop consists of the Lockhill and Sandford’s return, plus the debut of the Breacon and Radlett.
The colab is called 8th Street in reference to the location where Fieg started his first job in footwear, which has since grown into a sneaker empire. This reverence for heritage is strengthened by the Lockhill and Sandford models, which both nod to important locations within Clarks Originals’ history. This season sees tonal suede colourways, with some additional contrast on the Lockhill coming via light beige inserts. Of course, all editions sit atop the classic Clarks crepe sole.
The Breacon is among the most modern looking of the brand’s designs, evidenced by the higher ankle cut and exposed internal ankle bootie. Despite the contemporary look, the tonal maroon and teal colours tap into Clarks’ stately status. Similarly, the Radlett is inspired by classic Chelsea boots but is updated with enlarged hardware and chunky crepe soles.
The latest 8th Street collection is available now directly from Clarks.
