Ronnie Fieg Celebrates 100 with the Kith x ASICS GEL-Lyte III ‘Super Yellow’

Update February 24, 2023: Release details for Ronnie Fieg’s Kith x ASICS GEL-Lyte III ‘Super Yellow’ are in. Coinciding with the opening of the Kith Miami Design District flagship, the colourway will be exclusively available at that location on February 24. Ronnie Fieg is on the verge of achieving the feat of 100 different iterations of his ASICS collaboration series. The 99th and 100th colourways, ‘Super Orange’ and ‘Super Yellow’, will arrive with a remastered GEL-Lyte III silhouette and also coincide with the opening of two new Kith stores.

These pairs continue the ‘Super’ sub-lineage that uses a plain base colour contrasted with a vibrant accent. Classic Fieg/Kith elements, including perforated toe boxes and grey palettes, are reprised on these pairs. According to a recent Instagram post by the Kith founder, the GLIII has also been completely redesigned to recall its 2007 specifications, which is when he first worked on the model. As such, this version of the shoe will be referred to as the GEL-Lyte III Remastered.

The ‘Super Orange’ edition will launch with the opening of a new Kith store in Beverly Hills on February 3, with a wider release to follow. Release details for the ‘Super Yellow’ are yet to be announced, but it’s likely to be soon with the imminent opening of Kith Miami.
