The Next Crocs Juniper Colourway Floats by in ‘Sudd’
It isn’t easy to introduce a new model to hoards of hungry sneakerheads, but the has quickly garnered interest as one of the most interesting-looking silhouettes out there. The -brained model signalled the clog brand’s first major step into the sneakersphere, as Crocs followed the creative polymath’s lead to grow a Pollex Pod product that was fit to take on the trails. Drawing from Bembury’s number one muse, the natural world, the duo are now gearing up to drop the experimental sneaker in ‘Sudd’ this December.
The fourth colourway in the rollout once again borrows its earthy tones from the great outdoors. This time, the antibiotic and anti-UV uppers come in a mossy green, evoking similarities to its namesake: a floating green patch of vegetation that sits atop the White Nile River. Additionally, the pair’s cushioned inners sprout upwards in a sunny yellow shade, while Crocs’ signature green hangtag features on the laces.
Building even further on its nature-inspired design, the Juniper seamlessly transitions from its earthy upper to its strikingly sculptural foundation. Salehe’s signature fingerprint-inspired sole takes on a topographical form in coral and grey hues, settling in its shape like rapidly cooling lava. This sole unit adds structure to the unique construction while preserving a layer of foam cushioning inside for a comfy ride.
Following on from November’s colourway, the Crocs Juniper ‘Sudd’ is set to land in the US on December 12, with a global release to follow on December 13. Hit the link below to get your hands on a pair, and head to learn more about the Juniper’s design.
