line has already rewritten the playbook, but his latest link-up brings a new creative heavyweight into the mix: Nina Chanel Abney. Known for her bold paintings and murals, Abney is no stranger to shaking up the sneaker-sphere. Last year, she dropped her – a collaboration that soared to the top of countless ‘best of’ lists at the tail end of 2024. Part of the new ‘Art Friends Thumbs Up Good Job’ platform – Salehe’s ongoing series spotlighting creatives – the model adopts a punchy black-and-white checkerboard straight out of Abney’s paintbox that comes layered over Salehe’s signature fingerprint ridges. Chewing gum-esque pink hits give the remix even more personality, while NCA-branded (Nina Chanel Abney) heel straps and cheeky smiley faces round out the design.

This isn’t the first time Salehe’s brought an artist into the Pollex fold – he’s already tapped the likes of and Jonas Wood in 2024, with each collaboration turning the Clog into a bona fide art object.

Expect this drop to be seriously limited, with just 1000 pairs set to release through Bembury’s Be A Spunge. The official launch date is locked in for April 30, so set your alarms. As always, keep it locked to Sneaker Freaker for the latest updates.
