Salehe Bembury's New Balance 530 Gets a Wider Release

is quick with the unveiling! Yesterday, leaks were going around of the revered sneaker designer’s freshest collaboration, and Bembury didn’t muck around, showing off the first-ever proper look at the New Balance 530.

The upcoming Salehe Bembury x New Balance 530 boasts a similar design language to his previous ventures, incorporating bright hues and an eclectic material mix. A wide mesh base lays the groundwork for a mix of suedes for the overlays. Co-branded details have been scattered throughout the upper, including the designer’s signature fingerprint graphic on the lateral and medial ’N’ logos. Rounding out this iteration is the yellowed faux-vintage midsole. This is a refreshing take on the NB530, which has seen some success through its retro-inspired colourways.

Salehe’s partnership with New Balance has been a great success, kicking off with the 2020 and the 2021 follow up. Since then, Bembury has gone on to craft his ‘Yurt’, ‘Sand Be the Time’ and this year’s ultra-hype ‘Heat Be Hot’.
