Salomon Tap BEAMS for an Asymmetric RX Slide 3.0

Salomon are on a hot streak in 2023, kicking off the year with news that they were bringing back a bunch of sought-after XT-6 colourways as part of their ‘Recut’ pack. They followed up with Dover Street Market and atmos collaborations alongside a bunch of crisp General Release iterations. Their latest, a linkup with Sandy Liang, is shaking up newsfeeds around the globe. Next for the French hiking-turned-lifestyle stalwart is another collaboration with Japanese brand BEAMS, reworking the RX Slide 3.0.

These two brands have an ongoing relationship and have collaborated on silhouettes like the XA PRO 1 over the past few years. While they’ve used different models for every one of their linkups, the duo’s penchant for asymmetry has remained. Their RX Slide 3.0 is no different, incorporating the mismatched vibe on the outer 3D open mesh flower-adorned panels. Elsewhere, the EVA foam midsole provides a cushy ride alongside the cork insole.
