Sandy Liang is the eponymous label of the New York-based designer, who imbues her offerings with nostalgic references of her time growing up in NYC. The brand exudes a hyper-feminine childlike aura and has a cult-like audience among Gen-Z girlies across . Liang is known for adding ribbons across her clothing and has been a key figure in the balletcore and gorp-core trends.

The Sandy Liang label is a frequent collaborator with Salomon and has dropped a handful of collaborations including the and . For the latest, the XT-Whisper has been used, which is a model that was resurrected from the archives back in December. In signature Sandy style, the mesh upper has been dressed in pink, alongside complementary silver overlays scattered throughout and white midsoles.

‘The XT-Whisper is one of my favorite silhouettes from Salomon’s archives, and I loved the challenge of reimagining it through a fresh, modern lens,’ said Sandy Liang in a press release. ‘This collaborative design reflects my love for outdoor adventures paired with the practicality and ease of my everyday city life.’
