Slopes to Streets: Saucony Azura ‘Ski Jacket’ Pack
are venturing deeper into their retro running back catalogue by dipping into the again, a model that was ceremoniously revived for its back in 2018. Since then, the model has seen a number of inline and collaborative releases, which now will be dropping as part of a ‘Ski Jacket’ pack inspired by the bright nylon outerwear found on the slopes.
Nylon and 1980s runners are a match made in Technicolor heaven. As such, the lightweight fabric features prominently on the toe box and side panels of these Azuras. Bordering these inserts is microfibre trim that looks so supple it could pass off as suede. However, an unmistakable material used on this pack is the very fluffy faux fur lining, which suggests these sneakers are better suited for lower temperatures.
On the colourway front, there are some very period hues in use. One is a wintry mix of white, black, red, and mint green, while the other goes full retro with its teal and purple combo that is sparked up with some additional red hits. Contrasting tongue tags and Azura embroidery makes the branding unmissable too.
The Azura ‘Ski Jacket’ pack will be available directly at Saucony from December 1.
