size? and adidas Reunite to Drop Two SL 76s
Back at it again, and have just released two colourways of the SL 76, both inspired by the 1976 Montreal Olympics.
Back in 1974, money was tight in Montreal, so to help fund the construction of the Olympic venues, the Canadian government decided to hold a public lottery selling $10 tickets. It seriously paid off, and they were able to raise $15 million! The first shoe of the pack commemorates that moment in history, dressed in a tonal white upper with hits of ‘Glory Amber’ throughout. The final touch is a lottery ticket detail on the footbed.
The second crep in the pack is inspired by Amik, the beaver mascot from the ’76 Games. size? tried to keep this one as true to the OG as possible, with suede overlays, ultra-light nylon uppers, and a specialised eyestay. Once again, the footbed has been hit with a commemorative graphic of the Montreal mascot.
