Skepta and PUMA Officially Unveil the Skope Forever ‘Black Ice’

Godfather of the UK Grime scene has been cutting his teeth on plenty of sneaker collaborations in recent years. Debuting his first sneaker with in 2017 (the popular Nike Sk), Skepta later announced a long-term deal with in 2022. Debuting his first signature silhouette, the Skepta has continued his hot run with the Big Cat, and the latest collaboration involves a new ‘Granola’ colourway of his inaugural signature shoe. The titular shade dominates the visual style of the latest colourway and marks somewhat of an aesthetic transition for Skepta, who normally opts for more impactful palettes. Constructed in leather and mesh, it is perhaps underfoot that features the more salient design language, with Skepta opting for mirrored chrome on the midfoot shank. The Skope Forever also features a unique PUMA x Skepta badge on the tongues, announcing the collaborative nature of the silhouette.

inspired by early-2000s footwear designs and debuting in a special iridescent colourway, the Scope Forever was born out of Skepta’s deep dive into PUMA's vast archives. The Big Smoke was particularly drawn to a 2000s golf shoe called the PG Patent. The exploration helped Skepta blend historical references with modern design elements.
