Slam Jam and Converse Unveil 'Your Silence Gets You Nothing' Capsule
Working with legendary silhouettes, and with a little help from LA-based artist Cali Thornhil DeWitt, created three fresh takes on some sneakersphere stalwarts.
Crafted using repurposed military garb and , the Chuck 70 Hiker draws from a 1970s Yosemite hiker. Available in black and olive make-ups, the build reaches an inch higher than normal and features traditional laces. Next up, a high-top Chuck 70 Utility rocks distinctive patchwork uppers of canvas, mesh and Gore-Tex in addition to elastic laces for slip-on ease. The fresh design will drop in three colourways: khaki, black and blinding yellow and orange neon.
Drawing from the silhouette and inspired by paramilitary wear, the Jump Boot – available in all black and all white – is best described as high-fashion hiking.
The 'Your Silence Gets You Nothing' capsule by Slam Jam x Converse x Cali Thornhil DeWitt also includes 'urban utility' apparel. It is available now from , and will drop through on December 5.
