Slam Jam's Nike Blazer Collaboration Flips the Swoosh for Fashion Week
Italy’s biannual Pitti Uomo fashion week kicked off this week, and local retailer is celebrating in style with a special pair of Swoosh-flipped Vintage 1977s.
Highlighted with the unmistakable upside-down , the pair utilises a classic combo of white, grey and black leathers. The lateral Swoosh on the left shoe stays true to the OG design, while the medial Swoosh is flipped to create an eye-catching juxtaposition that harks back to the infamous ‘Methol 10’ Air Force and, more recently, the upcoming
Look to the heel collars and you’ll find ‘Class 1977’ printed in black, as retro Nike branding hits on the tongue for added vintage appeal.
Slam Jam also happen to be turning 30 this year, so the release of this collaborative Blazer couldn’t have been more timely. If you’re after a pair, it’s going to have to be an Italian job as pre-orders can only be made at Slam Jam’s special pop-up occurring at the Museum Shop of Museo Marino Marini.
