have a long lineup of collaborations, with their next one coming through in the form of an but, this one comes with a warning: stop buying sneakers.

Inspired by the ‘Just Say No’ anti-drug campaign from the 1980s and 1990s, Sneaker Politics are urging consumers to stop buying sneakers. ‘The campaign delivers a clear message: people have the power to make their own choices, and saying "no" to certain sneakers is a simple yet effective way to protect their style and values… Just Say No provides the tools for people to stand strong against peer pressure and make healthy, responsible choices’.

Looking at the design of the collaborative Kayano 14, the pair starts with a white mesh base and comes with metallic silver and gold overlays. The spice kicks in with chilli red accents in the gel midsole, tongue and heel overlays. The colours are tied together with a cream midsole, white laces, black accent lines and red midsoles.

The Sneaker Politics x ASICS GEL-Kayano 14 are landing in their Austin store on March 8 on a FCFS basis, but there will be an online raffle opening on March 5 and closing on March 8. If there are any pairs left to scoop, they will be released online March 10 at 9 AM CT.
