Sneakersnstuff Kicks Off the adidas SNS GT Series with 'Stockholm'
Swedish retailer are continuing their longstanding collaborative run with adidas, this time updating a classic terrace silhouette in the form of the SNS GT ’Stockholm’.
The blue and white colour palette is based off an OG Stockholm that first released back in 1966. The shoe features a soft premium leather upper, with tongue and side branding stamped in gold foil. Additionally, the insoles are printed with a map of Stockholm to add to the hometown narrative.
Compared to the original adidas Stockholm silhouette, the updated GT version comes with a outsole, which was originally produced locally in and for Austria. This process of combining archive models has been common practice within the Spezial line, so it’s nice to see the creative freedom transfer over to other projects.
The shoe marks a starting point for an upcoming series based on SNS locations around the globe. The SNS GT 'Stockholm' released through the SNS app on June 23, but will get also get a wider drop on June 27.
