Release Date: Sneakersnstuff x New Balance 991 Collaboration

Earlier this year, news of a Sneakersnstuff collaboration with New Balance began circulating! The colab in question featured a pack of 991s which looked to be bringing back a number of previously known and loved colourways back to shelves! And now roughly a month later, NB have officially confirmed that those 991s will be receiving a release, as per the arrival of fresh imagery and the accompanying campaign. The '10mins in Flimby' campaign shines a light on a number of things that one can do while in the UK coastal village, including getting chips, feeding llamas and of course, seeing the (Flimby) factory.

As per the campaign, you'll notice that there are a pair of sneakers which can be seen blurred out. You'll also notice that only two of the previously seen three pairs can be seen in official imagery. By connecting the dots, one could think that this means SNS and NB will be repeating history in a way – also dropping the additional 'secret' third colourway, just like they previously did in the 2000s?

Sneakersnstuff and NB first collaborated back in 2005 on a 577 model known as the 'Round 1', which ended up seeing a trio pack released. Initially set to two pairs, there ended up being that 'Secret 577' released too, and all pairs were extremely limited to 96 of each!

Bringing it back to 2022, these upcoming 991s have each been crafted with premium leather and pigskin suede overlays. They're locked in to release later this month on February 26 with a retail price of $259.
