Dig Into the 'Meatballs & Mash' Sneakersnstuff x Timberland Euro Hiker
When thinking of Sweden, most people think of IKEA first and then their meatballs and mash second. While IKEA would make for an interesting colourway (bright blue and yellow, anyone?), it’s the latter that are paying homage to in their debut collaboration with Timberland. The design is a twist on the hallowed ‘Beef and Broccoli’ colourway that has already hit the Euro Hiker, with the Swedish retailer swapping out the beef for meatballs with gravy and the broccoli for mash.
The SNS x Timberland Euro Hiker starts with black midsoles and outsoles before plating up a creamy base constructed of nylon ripstop. Served up next is smooth brown suede overlays topped with dark metallic hardware. The traditional dish is served with lingonberry jam and pressed cucumbers, which of course couldn’t be left out of the design, so there’s a striking red accent on the heel and light green laces to represent each respectively. Custom hang tags and co-branded logos add the final touches, with the dish ready to be served and devoured.
