On-Foot: SoleFly x Air Jordan 1 Low
Miami-based boutique are firmly ensconced in the inner circle of – and are closer to than most, as owner Carlos Prieto is in fact MJ's brother-in-law. Due to this familial connection, SoleFly have cranked out several memorable Air Jordan colabs, and they've got another one on the way before 2021 is out, namely a special .
First teased by back in August, SoleFly's low-cut blends two divergent inspirations: cult classic from 1993 and the 'Bison' from 2003. It's composed mostly of suede, offers up a black, red and tan colour scheme with Carnivore-inspired print on both the mudguard and heel and supplies co-branded detailing on its heel tabs. In the on-foot shots from sneaker leaker shown both above and below, it's also revealed that the SoleFly x Air Jordan 1 Low comes with two different sets of laces.
The SoleFly x Air Jordan 1 Low marks SoleFly's first Air Jordan colab since 2020's , designed to celebrate the boutique's 10th anniversary. Before that, SoleFly worked on two memorable Miami-themed in 2018, and in years further back crafted everything from lottery-inspired to bright yellow .
Currently, the SoleFly x Air Jordan 1 Low is set for a December 17 release date. It's priced at $150, $20 higher than most standard Air Jordan 1 Lows.
