SoleFly's Latest Jordan Colab is Only for the Lucky
We've got good and bad news for you. First up, the bad: aren't rereleasing their ultra-rare 'Lotto' as . The good, however, is that the Miami boutique has a brand new highly limited lottery-inspired colab dropping — and this time the public can get in on the action!
SoleFly founder Carlos Prieto and his crew have revisited their original 2014 'Friends and Family' AJ3 design and applied it to the Jordan 88 Racer silhouette — an all-new sneaker directly inspired by the Air Jordan 3. The new colab faithfully reinterprets the blazing OG design, but with a couple of improvements. Firstly, a jade band now wraps the midsole as a nod to the Florida Lotto logo on current lottery tickets in SoleFly's home state. The second — and undeniably more obvious — change can be found on the tongue, where the staple Jumpman logo has been replaced with a bright pink flamingo to further connect the colab to the Sunshine State. Like SoleFLy's AJ3 design, the insoles come decorated with lottery balls and the store's logo.
Only 223 pairs of SoleFly x Jordan Racer 88s will be up for grabs, divided into two drops. The first will go down in store on August 25 at SoleFly's Cutler Bay location. The second wave of pairs will be released online through on August 29 at 11:59pm EST — the same time the winning numbers in the Florida lottery are announced.
