Supra And G-Shock Announce Colab Pack
Shoe supremos have put in good work with in the past, so we were excited when we first heard murmurings of a colab. Now we get a nice peep at the full package, which includes two new sneaker designs and G-Shock releases in black and white. It's a sort of 'his and hers' package, with the black component for the boys, and the bright white goodness for the gals.
Lads get a G-Shock x SUPRA GDX6900SP-1 timepiece, featuring a polka dot patterned design on a matte black bezel standard with Shock Resistance, 200M Water Resistance, 1/100th Sec Stopwatch, 12/24 Formats, Mute Option and World Time. Added features to the GDX6900SP-1 model are a Multi-Home Time 4 option and Auto LED Super Illuminator and 10 - year battery all wrapped up in a formidable 53.9mm case size. The murdered-out joints are a new take on the 'Esteban' signature model of Stevie WIlliams, who holds dual ambassadorial citizenship across G-Shock and Supra nations.
For the femme fatales, G-Shock has prepped a white S-Series design, the GMDS6900SP-7, which includes a polka dot patterned design, 200M water resistance, shock resistance, 2 Multi Alarm + 1SNZ and World Time (29TZ/48 Cities and 12/24 Hr Formats). The model also features a 24 Hr Countdown timer, mute function, 1/100th Sec 24Hr stopwatch, and EL backlight with bright flash alert. Down low, Supra goes with a mod of the Cuttler silhouette, delivered in white leather and canvas with tonal polka dots adorning the upper area of the sneaker while metallic gold zippers provides easy access to the shoe’s white padded mesh interior. The base of the shoe is comprised of a white vulcanized sole with tonal foxing and pinstripes. In short, swag's on deck.
The G-Shock x SUPRA timepieces - G-Shock GDX6900SP-1 and the G-Shock S Series GMDS6900SP-7 - will retail for $160 USD and will be available in August 2015 at the G-SHOCK NYC SoHo store, www.gshock.com, Zumiez, select Macy’s and fashion boutiques. In Australia, the watches will land at G-Factory Bourke Street (Ground floor of Myer Bourke Street), G-Factory Myer Bondi Junction, G-Factory Macquarie Centre (High Time Watch Specialist), Culture Kings and a couple of other selected G-Shock stockists.
