Supreme Confirm Release of Nike Cross Trainer Collaboration
Despite late last year, pioneering streetwear brand are still cosying up with external juggernauts in the form of an ongoing relationship with . Their latest cooperation sees two editions of the somewhat underrated remixed in characteristically bright colours that regularly define Supreme colabs.
The Nike Cross Trainer (technically the Air Cross Trainer 3 Low) first released in 1990 and quietly returned in early 2020. It’s been pretty quiet on that front since then, but Supreme look to inject some excitement into the model with their colab. In a bit of a ‘Home’ and ‘Away’ concept, white and black leather bases are accented with perforated yellow and green panels respectively, before a supplementary contrast of yellow and red is added via panel edges and Swoosh branding.
Per Supreme’s announcement on Instagram, they’ve paid attention to the material execution of their latest sneaker colab, opting for ‘dazzle mesh’ tongue and heel panels, and ‘DURAPLUSH’ lining. These subtle details make way for more overt Supreme signs in the form of large heel logos.
The Supreme x Nike Cross Trainer will release exclusively from Supreme on October 14, with the Supreme Japan drop coming on October 16.
