Supreme’s Latest Vans Link-Up Drops This Week
While future under VF’s umbrella is still looking , the NYC-born skate institution are keeping things in the VF family as they’ve announced their latest collaboration with . With both brands sitting under the same parent company, it’s an easy way to reconnect with their shared skateboarding roots, and so the duo has readied three colourways of a custom-made version of the Vans .
Forming the latest instalment of the duo's longstanding partnership, the colab sees Supreme attempt to regain some of the edge they’ve been accused of losing under their corporate ownership. Previously adopted by Santa Cruz, Supreme's version of the 'Fuck ‘Em' slogan made its debut in the early 2000s and has graced a plethora of their products since, even appearing as a giant neon sign as part of the brand’s AW23 accessories line-up. Here, it reappears on the Sids’ sidewalls, calling back to the duo’s 2014 colab which also featured the same graphic.
As mentioned, Supreme have prepared three colourways of a custom Sid silhouette, and each pair features suede uppers, leather linings and vulcanised rubber soles with waffle treads. Underfoot the pairs feature Vans’ PopCush insoles, which are designed to provide better impact protection, energy return and pro-levels of cushioning for skaters.
The latest Supreme x Vans Sid collection is expected to drop this week, with pairs touching down on June 13 in the US and EU, and June 15 in Asia. Hit the links below on drop day to secure yours.
