Taka Gets Loud with the ASICS ONE

have teamed up with Taka, the lead singer of Japanese rock band ONE OK ROCK, to unveil a fresh remix of the ASICS ONE sneaker. The ASICS ONE was uniquely developed in collaboration with Taka using digital analyses of the singer's live performances to optimise the design for movement, comfort, and durability. The result is a pair that has been specifically engineered to meet the intense demands of Taka’s high-energy on-stage performances. Following the success of the murdered-out black edition, ASICS and Taka are now releasing a crisp white iteration.

The sneaker features a neoprene-like upper constructed from synthetic leather and reinforced fibres, offering durability and flexibility. Its sleek silhouette is emblazoned with a striking flame motif that extends seamlessly from the toes to the heel, creating a dynamic, eye-catching design. Underfoot, the wavy, sculpted outsole combines style and support to ensure the sneaker delivers top performance under pressure. Finally, the slip-on construction means that quick outfit changes are a breeze, whether you’re performing in front of 50,000 screaming fans or running a quick errand.

It’s been a very busy year for ONE OK ROCK in 2024. Comprising of Taka (vocals), Toru (guitar), Ryota (bass), and Tomoya (drums), the band embarked on their ‘2024 Premonition World Tour’, which marked their most extensive international tour to date. The tour featured performances in stadiums and arenas across Japan, Taiwan, Europe, and North America.
