After a bit of a false start, the Yeezy BOOST 700 ‘Bright Blue’ is finally ready to release this weekend on April 24. As always, frequent sneaker leaker yankeekicks has managed to obtain a pair ahead of the official drop for an on-foot look. These shots should help sneakerheads make up their mind whether to cop or drop.

The Yeezy BOOST 700 has gone down in its brief history as one of the most impactful designs of the brand, ever since its ‘Wave Runner’ debut (which is restocking later this year, by the way) in 2017. Presented in ‘Bright Blue’ uppers, there is still a subtle hint to the 700’s OG colourway via the teal forefoot insert. These uppers clash against oversized orange midsoles. As the years have passed, the once oversized proportions now seem fairly conventional – such is the influence of this design. There is a second reason for this large midsole: inside you’ll find adidas’ very comfortable BOOST technology, the arbiter for the 700’s crossover appeal with hypebeasts and sneakerheads alike.
