Take Care of Business in the Black and Grey New Balance 992
have taken an intriguing approach to rolling out the comeback tour. After retroing the once cult (now immensely popular) model in its OG grey scheme, the smattering of collaborations that followed came as no surprise. Then NB continued with strong inline colourways and, not long after that, made the 992 available to customise via the NB1 program. However, there was a somewhat conspicuous admission in the NB colourway roster – until now. The other other classic combination of black and grey has finally made it to the 992, and is available now for public consumption.
Grey isn’t for everybody, but neither is navy, so black tends to be an easy option for most categories of NB fans. As such, this mix of black, grey and reflective silver has been a default palette for a majority of New Balance models. The devil is in the details for the 992, as the Made in USA shoe features some of the best suede and mesh used in the footwear industry, and also boasts the high construction quality to boot. ABZORB SBS was also some of NB’s most advanced cushioning systems at the time, and it still holds it own today, so there are no qualms about the 992 performing when it needs to.
The black and grey New Balance 992 is available now (and selling quick) directly from New Balance and boutiques such as Up There.
