Star Wars and adidas Craft the Gazelle 'Darksaber'
The x universe has been expanding rapidly, with creps created for most of the main characters in the movies – both old and new. The details are next level, and almost all the silhouettes feature graphic insoles, lace dubraes, and modified tooling to replicate personalities such as , , , , and even . Now, to further expand the duo’s in-franchise references, the adidas has stolen the legendary and elusive Darksaber!
An ancient blade, the Darksaber was created by Tarre Vizsla – the very first Mandalorian – and adidas and Star Wars have crafted the classic Gazelle to mirror the unique blade. Black suede has been slapped down as the base, before reflective silver Three Stripes bearing Force Lighting motifs match the heel cap. A darker greyish tone has also been used on the laces and midsole to add to the profile. A luxe pop comes through on the leather tongue, with the final touch being the epic insole graphics.
Differentiating this from the regular Gazelle is the branding along the midsection, the right shoe reads ‘Gazelle’ while the left reads ‘Darksaber’.
The Star Wars x adidas Gazelle ‘Darksaber’ has been locked in to release on November 4 exclusively in-store and online at adidas.
