On-Foot: The Air Jordan 1 ‘Hand Crafted’
We’re well into the back-half of 2021, and it’s still all about the ! first signature silhouette continues to dominate the 2021 sneakersphere. Both in-line colourways and colabs have been hot commodities, selling out instantly. Next up, we’ve got an on-foot look at a colour-crazy iteration dubbed ‘Hand Crafted’.
We first witnessed this Air Jordan 1 High OG back in July, and the colour-blocking used by is quite interesting. Instead of opting for a classic two-tone look, a bunch of colours have been added to each of the panels. ‘Archaeo Brown’ and ‘Dark Chocolate’ are the main ones used, with purple and green splashed in as complementary hues. A mix of suede and leather has been added to create the upper, with a different textile employed by the Wings logo. The most intriguing part is the two-tone laces that stop halfway up the tongue and switch from the subdued black to bright orange.
This on-foot imagery has come through from sneaker sleuth yankeekicks and according to them we should expect the Air Jordan 1 High OG to arrive at select Jordan Brand stockists on December 18. They’re set to retail for $170. We’ll keep you updated as the release date comes closer.
