The Air Jordan 1 Low ‘Chinese New Year’ 2021 is Limited to 8500 Pairs

That is, they have another in the works, after using the same model for the .
The 2021 edition is similarly elaborate in detail, but adopts a relatively simple yet iconic colourway: black and red, aka ‘Bred’. Of course, being a CNY edition, the uppers aren’t simply leather. These AJ1 Lows use woven textile instead, with plenty of intricate ox graphics (2021 marks the Year of the Ox) across various panels, giving the entire fabric a silk-like finish. The opulent execution continues with the very superfluous, but rather fun, red and gold rope that appears to be permanently grafted to the ankle collars and tongue.
As an added bonus, these AJ1 Lows will come packaged in a special box, and reports are coming out that only 8500 pairs will be available (’85 x 100, makes sense), as denoted by individually-numbered cards.
The Air Jordan 1 Low ‘Chinese New Year’ 2021 is scheduled to release at selected retailers on January 29.
