The Air Jordan 11 Low IE ‘Bred’ Returns This Month
The announcement of the included the exciting news that some OGs were returning. And one of those reissues is the IE in its original ‘Bred’ colourway.
The IE version is a modified Air Jordan 11 Low that was originally designed for Playoff season. Designer cored out sections of the 11’s patent mudguard, and added mesh panels for extra breathability, while he also swapped the upper to leather and suede to ensure adequate support while saving weight.
This black and red colourway effectively echoes the OG ‘Bred’ colourway of the regular high-cut Air Jordan 11, and was worn by MJ during the 1996 NBA Playoffs. There are some colour flips here, such as the red lining and Jumpman tongue logo, while the ice outsole is milky white. As for other features on this release, expect OG touches like exposed carbon fibre shank plates, moulded insoles, and even the same packaging as 25 years ago.
It has been a couple of years since the Air Jordan 11 Low IE was in retail circulation, so it’ll be a good time to fill that gap in the collection. The Air Jordan 11 Low IE ‘Bred’ is expected to release on September 18.
