The Air Jordan 12 Low ‘Easter’ Is Worth Keeping Clean
At first glance, the supposed connection between this Low colourway and Easter does not seem apparent. Upon closer inspection, it still isn’t crystal clear. But Jordanheads will roll with it anyway, because it’s a very clean option for fair weather conditions.
The Air Jordan 12 Low is a somewhat uncommon offering from , with most of its pedigree based around casual and lifestyle options. So it makes perfect sense that the model emerges themed after a globally-observed holiday. While not everyone may celebrate Easter, this near all-white colourway makes it versatile enough to be worn before, during and after Lent.
If Easter is all about rebirth and cleaning the slate, then perhaps that is what these AJ12s represent. The leather uppers are completely blank in white, with the tongue and mudguard formed using tumbled material, while the quilted sections are the smooth type. For a bit of visual pop, the metal lace hook features an iridescent rainbow finish, which matches the Jumpman text inserts on the mudguard arch. Black ankle pull tabs add further contrast, connecting to the very blue-hued ice outsole. On the opposite end, the insoles are shaded with pink-purple haze, making a somewhat tenuous connection to typical Eastertime pastels.
In any case, the Air Jordan 12 Low ‘Easter’ will release on April 3.
