The Air Jordan 4 ‘Tech White’ AKA ‘White Oreo’ Heads to JD Sports
Every now and then a GR colourway manages to attract the same hype as a limited drop or collaboration, and the ‘Tech White’ AKA ‘White Oreo’ is a prime example of just that. Leaked imagery and rumours about the uber-clean colourway have been circulating for months, with the ‘cookies and cream’ remix garnering plenty of attention thanks to its seriously wearable aesthetic. After a global drop, the sought-after pair is finally set to hit . Great news for the sweet-tooth sneakerheads!
Boasting a slightly different flavour profile to what we’re used to, the ‘Tech White’ AJ4 arrives with a milkier look compared to the popular ‘Oreo’ Jays we’ve seen in the past. The speckled midsole nods to the cookie crumbles, with classy white leather dressing the majority of the upper. For a bit of contrast, a red logo is placed on the tongue, with more grey details found on the lace waffles and the lining. This is about as clean as it gets.
One of the most popular silhouettes in the Jordan Brand lineup, the Air Jordan 4 was originally released in 1989, with taking the design language of burgeoning signature line to a whole new level. Unveiled in a memorable Mars Blackmon–led ad campaign, the AJ4 is probably most famous for being on MJ’s feet when he hit ‘The Shot’.
The Air Jordan 4 ‘Tech White’ AKA ‘White Oreo’ hits JD Sports Australia, in store and online, on June 30. Not copping would be a cookie mistake!
