The is having a busy start to 2021, the colourway and collection adding plenty of contemporary flare to the legendary silhouette from 1990.
The latest Air Jordan 5 to join the Jumpman catalogue in 2021 is the ‘Bluebird’ – a women’s release slated to take flight later this year.
While we don’t have an official look at the colourway as yet, a rendering by zsneakerheadz shows us what we can expect from the design.
Composed in ‘Photo Blue’, ‘Football Grey’, ‘Metallic Silver’, and white, the Air Jordan 5 is expected to have ‘Photo Blue’ suede uppers and grey detailing on the eyelets, before silver hits the tongues and signature shark teeth on the midsole.
Down below, a white midsole creates further distinction, while a classic icy translucent midsole completes the design.
Look for the women’s Air Jordan 5 ‘Bluebird’ to release on October 7. The expected price tag is $170.
Launched during the 1989–90 NBA season, the Air Jordan 5 originally helped fuel Michael Jordan’s devastating aerial attack against the Motor City ‘Bad Boys’. For more on why the Air Jordan 5 is still a bad boy, read our !
