The Sequel to the DN Arrives Next Year: the Air Max DN8

Tuned, Zoom, and now Dynamic: there have been several iterations of Air throughout ’s history and this year saw the introduction of the latter, with the Swoosh releasing the for Air Max Day 2024. The DN stands for Dynamic Air, which is a tubed unit designed to allow air to pass through and provide a smooth transition with each stride. In 2025, Nike are set to continue the Dynamic Air line with the new DN8. Expected to land on , the aptly named model will feature eight dynamic air tubes, with the generous use of tech marking Nike’s commitment to their recently developed cushioning system.

Earlier this week, the first look at the upcoming Air Max DN8 surfaced courtesy of ’s Javel Berlin. Along with the aforementioned Dynamic Air, the sneaker is built around a Nexkin mesh upper that showcases wavy slashes. The DN8 has already drawn comparisons to the , and s at large. With this latest design, Nike seem keen on battling back against some of the brands that have gobbled up market share in recent years. The colourway donned by Javel Berlin is a subdued all-white with neon Air, and it's expected that there will be more exciting colourways lined up as well.

The DN kicked off with a collaboration, so it's not totally off the cards for the DN8 to kick off with a Corteiz partnership. While no information is available, the Javel Berlin association has sparked discussion among sneakerheads. Currently, the DN8 is expected to drop for Air Max Day, March 26th, 2025.
